Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
